>> What's going on at the Cornerstone?
Answer: a lot! Here is what we are up to. For more detail, read
below and check out our events calendar. Come hang out with us!
Life[LINE]
Life[LINE] is a weekly meeting of college students on Sunday nights at 7:00 PM at the Cornerstone for worship and Bible study with an emphasis on meaning and application for the college student and college-aged working person. Life[LINE] is also the basis of a series of Life[GROUPS], small groups of students meeting throughout the week to do faith and life together. Students have an opportunity to participate in our Life[LINE] leadership program, leading small groups, leading worship, teaching, leading outreaches, and helping shape the future of campus ministry through the Cornerstone. For meeting schedule, see our calendar. To learn more about Life[LINE], click here...
Awakening Prayer
Awakening Prayer is where the Cornerstone meets Sunday nights weekly from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm to do the work of prayer. The Bible teaches that we "have not because we ask not". This verse motivates us to ask for the things that matter most to God and to us: justice in the world, the salvation of the lost, healing for the sick, the expansion of God's Kingdom through the Cornerstone and all of the church, etc. We have learned that prayer is meant to be enjoyed as we pursue the heart of God. The more we pray the more He moves. Awaken to prayer! Join us! For meeting schedule, see our calendar. To learn more about Awakening Prayer, click here...

The Cornerstone Barbecue
Every Tuesday during the fall and spring semester, we set up tables and chairs on our front grass and wrap-around porch and invite UTA students over for a free mesquite-grilled cheeseburger. Students are served by volunteers at their tables and invited to share in a spiritual thought for the week. The Cornerstone
Barbecue is student led. To see when the barbecue is open, see our calendar. To learn more about the Barbecue, click here...
The Cornerstone Coffee House
Weekly on a Friday night, the Cornerstone opens its doors specially for the 2,600 international students on UTA campus, most of whom have no transportation and will never be invited into an American home, to share the hospitality and message of Christ. The Coffeehouse is currently in transition, awaiting new leadership. But, we hope to have it back up and running for the spring semester of 2008. To learn more, click here...
