>> Road trip to IHOP Kansas City
Join us Friday, July 17 through Sunday, July 19, 2009 for a journey in prayer at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. The cost is $15 which includes transportation, lodging, and food all day Saturday and Sunday breakfast. 
Participants will need to bring money to pay for fast food meals on the trip there and back (expect at least four). Sign up by July 12 to reserve your spot. Click below to download, print, and sign the two release forms, each of which must be notarized. The UTA Student Activities Office notarizes for free, as does our church office during office hours. Bring the forms to Life[LINE] by July 12th along with your $$$ . We will depart from Grace Community Church at 7:00 AM on Friday and return Sunday night around 10:00 PM.
Release Forms:
Release forms must be on file for every participant on a Grace Community Church sponsored trip. Required only if you have not submitted them in the past. Please note that forms must be notarized!
What to Bring:
We will be sleeping on the floor of Hillcrest Covenant Church in Kansas City who have generously offered to host us for free! The floor will be hard and there is one shower for guys and one for girls. So, pack:
- Reasonably sized bag
- When you pack your clothes, remember it may be chilly inside the Prayer Room for some,
or in the church we are sleeping in
- Toiletries (we will all share two showers)
- Sleeping Bag
- Bed Roll (we are sleeping on a hard floor in a church)
- Pillow
- Towel
- Bible
- Journal
- Money for fast food meals on the trip down and back (at least four)
- Release forms NOTARIZED
- Trip tuition ($15)
- An expectation to be changed by Jesus and a preparedness to love others
- DISCOURAGED - personal entertainment devices for use in the van or at the church (other than quiet times) such as DVD players, iPods, laptops, books, magazines, etc. We want to take the most advantage of personal time with each other and the Lord this weekend!
- Card or other (non-electronic) games for the van (optional)
- Snacks for the van (optional)
