On Tuesdays during the school year, lunch is on the Cornerstone! All UTA Students and faculty are welcome. Join us  on our wrap-around porch or on the lawn for a free burger cooked on our giant smoker. We also offer a spiritual thought for the week for optional discussion.
What's On The Menu?
Famous Cornerstone burgers, and lots of them! We offer beef as well as a vegetarian option for our vegetarian guests along with chips, water, lemonade and the occasional special treat. All burgers are cooked fresh outdoors on the big red Cornerstone smoker by our grill master. If they weren't free already, we'd back them with a money-back guarantee!
Do I Have To Be A Cornerstone Member?
The barbecue is for everyone who is a UTA student or faculty  member! We want everyone to feel welcome to join us.

Barbecue guests are invited to join us for other Cornerstone activities such as Life[LINE] and special events like cliff jumping, camping, and a spiritual retreat. These are open to anyone who would like to take part. Feel free to browse our site to learn more about what we do. Join our Facebook group to receive event invitations. Why do you do this?
In other words, what's the catch? There is a famous account from the bible that most people know about where Jesus performs a miracle and feeds 5,000 using a few fish and loaves of bread. We feel that the example Jesus set is one of serving and feeding others as a gesture of God's love and care for all of us. For Jesus it was in invitation to believe that He is who He claimed to be. So, we offer a weekly free lunch as a way to show the same thing. God is real and has reached into our lives to give us something to give to others. So, we want to give back to the students and to the school in this small way. Come join us for some hospitality in the Name of Christ, and maybe you will learn something about who He is, just like those 5,000 did so long ago!
